New Hendersonville Art Studio Invites Families to Get Creative—No Matter Their Budget

Permission to Play, a creative art studio for children and their parents, recently opened its doors with a mission that’s as colorful as the art on its walls: to make creativity accessible for all families.

Founder Krystin says she dreams of growing the supply closet into something even more magical—a place where every child can pick out art materials to take home and continue their creative journey beyond the studio walls. 📍How to Find the Studio
Permission to Play is located at 394 W Main St B-7, Hendersonville, TN 37075—but finding it can be a little tricky the first time. The studio is tucked away in a white and navy blue building behind Don Carbon Tacos, on the second floor, far left end of the building (facing the front side). Google Maps often misleads visitors, directing them to the back of the property near the storage units behind the Açaí Addiction building. Ignore that route! Instead, enter the correct driveway located between TN Vape and Don Carbon Tacos—this will lead you straight to the right place.
This hidden gem is 110% worth the effort to locate—once you arrive, you’ll be greeted with warmth, color, and creativity waiting to unfold.
